Most barangays in Talisay City availed the Barangay Clearance Application System last March 24-25, 2009 and April 29-30, 2009.There was two batches of participants. The first batch was the barangay’s of Biasong, Camp IV, Candulawan, Cansojong, Dumlog, Jaclupan, Pooc, San Isidro, San Roque, Tabunok and Tangke. And among the second batch were barangay’s of Lagtang, Lawa-an II, Lawa-an III and Manipis.

The Barangay Clearance Application System is a system wherein application of barangay clearance in each Barangays will be computerized and stored in a database.The training is all about how to use and maintain the system. The system will help the barangays to store and keep their records in a systematic way. With this system, the process will be more fast and efficient.

Hon. Roberto A. Cabarrubias welcomed the participants along with Mr. Jeffrey N. Llanto the President and Vice-President of Barangay.Net Cebu Alliance, Inc. respectively.

“If we are working in the government, we are working for the service of people” says Hon. Cabarrubias.

The two-day training concluded with giving of certificates and providing the BCAS system to them.
